Limited Lifetime Warranty

Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC warrants to the original purchaser that their products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided the product remains in the original installation, and provided the product was installed properly. This warranty does not apply to any products or parts that have failed due to normal wear, accident, negligence, alteration, misuse, abuse, improper handling, improper installation, improper maintenance or cleaning, improper operation, loss of color intensity, normal wear and tear, exposure to chemicals, wind, inclement weather, salt air or other detrimental environmental conditions. Motors and motor components are warranted for 5 years. Exterior products are warranted for 5 years. Cords and chains are warranted for 5 years and beyond that are considered a normal wear item. At their discretion, Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC has the obligation under this warranty to repair, exchange parts, or remake any product or part that may prove defective in normal use within the expected life of the product. To obtain service under this warranty the product owner should contact the Authorized Dealer (place of purchase). No agent, representative dealer, or unauthorized employee has the authority to alter the obligations of this warranty.

Remedies and Limitations:

Any issues with product delivery, malfunction, defects, or workmanship should be reported to Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC immediately by the Authorized Dealer. If the Authorized Dealer is not available, the owner of the product should contact Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC at info@kandilablinds.com with order information to include name of Authorized Dealer, purchase date, and order number if possible. Warranty coverage is not provided if the product is altered, misused, abused or installed improperly. Damage from fires, environmental conditions, storms, electrical malfunctions, accidents, floods, leaks or acts of God are not covered. KBS does not warranty or cover in any way compensation for punitive, incidental, secondary or consequential damages. Nor does KBS warranty or provide coverage for attorney’s fees or costs, aggravation, mental anguish, emotional distress, pain and suffering or similar. Warranty coverage does not cover labor, installation, shipping, packaging and other costs that may arise due to warranty repairs or remakes. The warranty will be limited to repair or replacement at the discretion of KBS. At no time will compensation beyond the original dealer cost be covered. This warranty may be changed without warning.

Notes on variations and child safety:

Some variations in color and texture between sample swatches and the product produced may be considered normal. Fading due to exposure to sunlight, cleaning supplies and other items may not be covered. Cords, chains, installation choices and other features may present a hazard, especially to children and pets. Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC offers product options that reduce these hazards and must be utilized such as automation, cordless operation and cord attachments; Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC. will not be held liable for any such claims.

Notes on errors:

Errors by Kandila Blinds and Shades will be corrected immediately, and any product cost is covered by Kandila Blinds and Shades LLC. Errors made by Authorized Dealers may qualify for partner protection coverage where Kandila Blinds and Shades shares in the cost of remakes by covering up to 25% of the cost of the remake.
